ITINERARY
8:00 - 8:30 am: Your exploration of Hanoi's rich history begins with a convenient pick-up from your hotel. Our friendly tour guide and bus await to whisk you away on this enlightening half-day morning deluxe city tour.
8:45 am: Our first stop is the tranquil Tran Quoc Pagoda, nestled on Golden Fish Island in West Lake. As Hanoi's oldest pagoda, dating back to the 6th century, it offers a serene start to our journey.
9:30 am: Next, we visit the revered Ho Chi Minh Complex, the final resting place of Vietnam's beloved Uncle Ho. Here, you'll have the unique opportunity to view Ho Chi Minh's embalmed body. We'll also stroll through the gardens, exploring the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Our visit includes the One Pillar Pagoda, an architectural and spiritual marvel dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.
- Dress Code Reminder: Please dress modestly (covering shoulders to knees) for respectful visits to the Mausoleum, temples, and pagodas.
- Note on Visiting Times: The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is closed on Mondays and Fridays, and annually from June 15th to August 15th for maintenance. However, you can still capture its exterior and explore the surrounding area.
11:15 am: We continue to the Vietnam Ethnology Museum, offering insights into the diverse cultures of Vietnam's 54 ethnic groups.
- Special Note: On Mondays, when the Ethnology Museum is closed, we'll visit the Vietnamese Women’s Museum instead, celebrating the cultural and historical contributions of Vietnamese women.
12:45 pm: Enjoy a delightful lunch at our selected restaurant, where you'll taste the flavors of traditional Vietnamese cuisine.
1:45 pm: Our bus will then transport you back to your hotel, concluding a morning filled with historical discoveries and cultural immersion in the heart of Hanoi.
